Product Review – Mary’s Gone Crackers

Thanks to my wonderful, beautiful, generous, health-conscious Aunt Lisa I have been introduced to Mary’s Gone Crackers.  These organic, wheat-free, gluten-free crackers are fantastic.

I am a “seed” person.  I love seeds in my bread, crackers, recipes, etc. or as a snack on their own.  This is probably why I love these crackers, which are made from brown rice, quinoa, flax seeds and sesame seeds.  They come in many flavors:  Original, Onion, Caraway, Black Pepper and Herb.  I have tried the black pepper and herb.  They’re great.  I can’t wait to try their Sticks & Twigs Pretzel Sticks.  If you want to try any of their products, they have a store locator on their website to help you find a retailer near you.

We use only organic ingredients—which heal our consumers, the farmers who grow our ingredients, and the land from which our ingredients come.

Whenever possible, we work with purchasers who pay a fair wage to producers, support women, and help maintain vibrant local communities.

We use local suppliers whenever feasible—including our rice, which we buy from a family of organic rice farmers 50 miles from our manufacturing plant.

We use low glycemic, whole food palm sugar harvested from the sweet nectar of the coconut palm flower, which doesn’t require cutting down trees and helps maintain a vibrant agroecosystem.

We use no genetically modified ingredients.

We use only recycled paper and soy-based ink for our packaging.

We are working with organizations like the Celiac Disease Foundation to educate people regarding the symptoms of celiac disease and how to take care of our bodies when we have this autoimmune disorder, which keeps the body from digesting gluten.

  1. quick healthy meals First off I would like to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints? Many thanks!

    • You can find them at Whole Foods, or many health food stores… I really like them, they’re great with guacamole or salsa… I would imagine they’re great with a lot of other stuff too…
